And since my client popped a 29" walleye last Sunday, I was anxious to get out and hit the spot on the spot again asap.
Wednesday, I finally couldn't take it anymore and left work a little early in the afternoon.
This large "Half Tail" walleye is the result of that quick afternoon trip. My new personal best walleye from Lake Wisconsin put up one heck of a fight. She hit the tape at 30-1/2 inches long and was released after a couple pitures.
I would love to hear about it if anyone else ends up catching her. She has a pretty distinct tail which doesn't seem to affect her ability to put up a great fight.
Unfortunately, due to a buddy of mine who is fishing a local tournament on Lake Wisconsin next weekend, I am not going to divulge any information on how, where or what with at this time. Sorry! Hope you all understand.
