Well a new month has come and with much to look forward to. The next few months are by far my favorites of the year. From now till December the flats will become a whole different place making it some of the most shallow water we have all year to fish. This is my favorite time where you can have days of 20 and 30 fish come to the boat. The flats will have tons and tons of schooled up Redfish on them with days where you can find a single school and stay on them all day catching as may as you want. The Big Reds are spread out this week but still around to make a trophy catch here and there. The big talk of the town is the low water that has school after school of Redfish up on the flats. As the water gets low the fish that usually hide in the back country push out to deeper water and this makes them easily fishable. Simply put the fishing is perfect as they kind of get trapped on the flats making it easily the best fishing of the year when this happens. So the bite is good and conditions are perfect. Today Long time client BO from Vero Beach joined me and was blessed with this fat pig of a Redfish.8-28-07
