The flw boys that are coming in for the tournament that starts on the 8th I believe are going to wack'em. The deep bite is shaping up to be like it was 2 and 3 years ago and during that time we had some days where we actually caught a hundred fish a day and 30 to 40 of the were over 4 pounds. A few days this past week we had the schools going so good that we didn't even stop to take pictures. With the current and wind if you stopped before you knew it you were 50 yards away. A few of the school are getting so big that you can sit and work them all day long and catch'em. The other day we started around 5:30 and before we knew it it was 12 and we hadn't even cranked the motor. Best baits right now are big crankbaits but we are also catching them on football jigs, carolina rigs, swimbaits, and big worms. They are still on an a-rig also but the way they are hitting a crankbait makes it hard to throw anything else. Fish are in 14 to 22 feet but on some days they are suspended off the drops in 25 to 30.
Late Thursday afternoon the water started to muddy up from all the rain north of us last weekend and by Friday we were running from the mud to find clean water but it has cleaned up a little since.
This next week of the 27th - the 2nd is pretty slow for me for some reason but the following weeks are busy and I have 6-3, 6-7, 6-10, 6-11, 6-17 ,6-18, -6-20, 6-26 and 6-27 open as of now for June. I am still running a special of $50 off from a full day which makes it $275, $35 off of 6 hour days which makes the $240 and $25 off from half days which makes the $200.
Book know while the special runs and the discount is good for a booking on any trip this year. Summer time deep bite, flipping bite or fall frog bite.
Good Luck out there.
