Hi Fisherman, This last two weeks Tarpon fishing in the San Jose Lagoon has been Good. Between Sept 16-18 we have some fun with Big Tarpon.
Sept 16, Our boat Black Magic, with Capt. Carlos hooks 5 Tarpon all over 50 lbs. He lands 1 Tarpon of 50 lbs and the second Tarpon of 60 lbs.
Sept 17, Our boat Black Magic with Capt. Carlos land 3 Tarpon. Two of 50 lbs and a 70 lbs. Our other boat Magic Tarpon 2, with Capt. Armando hook 6 Tarpon, land 2 Tarpon. The first Tarpon was 55 lbs and the second Tarpon was 85 lbs.
Sept 18, Magic Tarpon 2, with Capt. Armando lands a 60 lbs Tarpon.
Sept 24, we hook 5 Tarpon and we land 3 Tarpon. This time we were using 8 lbs test line for the small and medium Tarpon.
