Despite the 25 to 30 mph wind against the tide, we managed to put a catch together today. Drifted out to the East, working the bait and bird life, twisted and rolled picking away on each drift.

Stopped on some huge fish busting first drop in the AM, but not one customer had a jig on. With the bird life and fish busting, thought for sure a couple guys would have seen what was going on. Watched as the Flamigo gaffed 6 fish all 25 pounds and better!!!!

By the time the guys with the full tackle boxes got set up, the bite was over.

Remember, ALWAYS BE PREPAIRED!! We haven't jigged in 2 1/2 weeks, doesn't mean one day (like today) that's what we will do.

Fished with the clams the rest of the day.

Ran down our beach at the end of the day looking for the change of tide bite and maybe a shot at the drum, no such luck as the current was still way to the North.

Still a nice day and a half way decent bite for June 17th!!!

Chartered Saturday AM...Fathers day Fluking..Monday will be an adventure as we will have all bases covered! Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3:30pm till 9:30pm Magic Hour trips are on. The bite has been very good the past week on the afternoon trips. Come on down an dgive it a shot.

Nice video and pics tonight. Capt.Ron
