Great morning on the dock, no wind, temps were perfect for December. The Ocean, that was a totally differen't story!!! Left the dock with that magic 9 number again and headed South to the Rocks...the further south, the larger the holes became! Finally arrived only to put the pulpit under on a big one. Never saw a bird, never read a fish. Turned around and headed back up the beach, was going to give everyone their money back and call it a day, but the defiant one in me said no...found some life around Ambrose, the 2nd fish in the boat was a keeper, now I new we had to give it hell....It wasn't pretty with the outgoing but the guys hung in there picking away. By 1:30 we finally had a decent incoming with the breeze, a nice patch of life finally showed and we proceeded to kick butt!! Tom Krako had his two for the second trip in a row. Ron Solin got the pool fish, a very nice 14 pounder. Half a dozen keepers and countless shorts for the action. Still rock'in, don't know if it's from the Sea or that special gift given to me by Paul Smitko!!! Thanks guys, your the best!! Capt.ron
