[Saltwater Fishing] Fishing in the Gulf of Papagayo is fantastic not only for bill fishing in deep waters but also for the abundant amount of rooster fish in these waters. However, there is an additional effort from local fishermen to preserve the species making it possible to catch 7 to 9 rooster fishes in a day when water conditions are favorable.
