Took a ride again, only to miss the bite, once again!!! Found loads of bait with fish mixed in, only problem was the bait was deep, not on top which told me the Bass weren't feeding. Had a couple nice ones but it was very tough fishing for the gang we had. The guys who kept dropping to the bottom caught Dogfish, and plenty of them. Ran back to the Rocks to finish out the day, not a bite. Bill Horne had the pool fish today at 24 pounds!
Haven't caught a Bluefish in 3 trips!!! Tomorrow is the last Bass trip sorry to say. Thought we could hang in there with this shot of fish down the beach. Don't mind burnin the fuel if we could catch'em, but it's just not good enough. Fluke from Friday on. Chartered Thursday and Saturday morning.....Capt.ron
