Some differance in the Ocean today! Never thought it would lay down as fast as it did, especially after the last 2 days. Still a ground swell, but very fishable. Caught the last of the outgoing tide and had a decent pick on shorts and keepers...forgot about changing the time on the plotter, thought I had another hour of current, at 9:30 everything went dead! Had to wait it out for some time before the bite came back on. Plenty of small fish today, with a few bigger fish mixed in. Rocco Farina lead the way again with 3 nice fish in the box and close to a dozen shorts. He also had the pool fish until the whistle, when Lou Carini, Monroe Twsp landed a 21 pounder!!. Better fishing than I expected, after the past few days.....Capt.ron
