Ran 20 miles in the opposite direction from where we fished yesterday. With the NE supposed to blow 25, figured our beach would only provide a beating! Ran into a mile of Gannets, bait and fish! Tough getting through the Blues, but when we did, some very nice size bass would eat. Had one drift that lasted 40 minutes...moved only to look for more Stripers, not that the bite had died! Largest fish of the day was caught by Marcus Howard/PA 44 inches, 26 pounds, our largest of the fall, so far. Billy from Shadow Ridge had second with a 22 pounder. All bass were keepers with the exception of 1, 27 inch fish. Anchovies is what they were feeding on. The guys who tried the clams or any bait near the bottom caught the endangered species, and plenty of them....Sailing Thanksgiving morning 7:30 for Stripers. Capt.ron
