Very Nasty ocean turned on the bite today!! 90 percent Stripers up to 24 1/2 pounds. Fish ate anything we threw at them, Ava's, Shads, Storms, didn't matter as they were hungry. Fish were feeding on Sand eels and Anchovies. Ed Arill, Boonton N.J. had the big one at 24 1/2 pounds, 44 inches! Couple others in the 20 lb. range. A few big blues mixed in, but that was not the norm. Waited all year for a day like today!! Just hope tomorrow it's not the old "You should have been here yesterday!!!!
