After yesterdays fishing, today was a total meltdown!! Didn't have anywhere near the life, birds or fish. When we did find the life at the end of the day....they didn't bite. Caught some blues, a few short bass and 4 keepers. Ran just about everywhere looking for some action. Fished offshore where we caught the bass yesterday only to find some Blues and Horn dogs up the giggy! Suckers ate Jigs, spoons, even 9 inch shads!!! Several attempts to get the guys to turn the handles and get off the bottom, fell on deaf ears, went on deck to explain why they had to reel....no luck. Guess after 30 years, I've become a dumb ass! Knew in the AM when (TOM) asked how we did yesterday, I was in trouble..put the whammy right out there. Hey, gotta blame someone or something...A few red wines might ease the pain tonight, tomorrow we'll start fresh...Capt.ron
