Had to be a million birds working in the AM. No matter where you looked there was life, only problem was, they were very tough to catch. Picked at the small Bass and some bigger blues. Kept bouncing around trying to find the ones that wanted what we were offering...wind against the tide didn't help the situation. Waited for the change and the right conditions, bite turned on with some of the best fall fishing yet! Plenty of short bass with some very nice keepers in the mix. All the big blues you wanted for the action. Had so much fun we put in an extra 1/2 hour to get a few more keepers. Sherman Smith/Belle Meade, N.J. had the pool fish at 15 pounds. Several limits including Dereck who had 3 with a bonus tag. Patience paid off today!! Capt.Ron
