Wasn't sure what to expect after the weather we've had the past two days. Ocean looked pretty dirty. Had the last of the outgoing in the channels, didn't see a bird, fished some readings, mostly bait and caught 1 short. Moved to a few area's waiting and hopeing the change of tide would do me good.....Ran South with my fingers crossed, Robbie my deck hand, who I thought was far sighted all these years spotted some life...it was all uphill from there!! Change came through, bite turned on. One of the first fish lost at the boat had to be over 30 and close to 50 inches...lost him 2 feet from the gaff! Couple in the 20 lb. Range..pool fish Caught by Justin Lerner, New Providence, N.J. went 24, his second fish was 21 pounds...he also mentioned he ended the day with 27 fish total. Lots of action, all size fish. Love to see those gannets!! Can't wait till tomorrow....capt.ron
