Saturday's tournament on the Snake River this won with a five fish limit of 20 lbs.

Largest fish was over 5 pounds, with numerous fish in the 3 to 4 pound class. Anglers had great fishing throughout the day, with most participants coming in with limits.

These fish were gorged with smolt which would give you a good indication on colors of baits that were the most successful.

Crank types baits worked best early in the day and then as the sun was overhead tubes were the go to choice.

Fishing will continue to improve as the river warms another degree or two. Good start for our spring fishing.
