Chase N' Tails Fishing Charters.
Finally Spring has sprung the weather is nice and the inshore fishing is on. Trout are still hitting just about anything you present to them i like to use a topwater skitter walk in the morning and in the afternoon a Berkely Gulp new penny jerkbait is hot right now. We are also using Sebiles twich baits that produce some really big trout. I tie a loop knot with all my
lures and live bait hooks with a 20lb suffix leader and 10lb power pro does the trick for Redfish and trout. Now the Redfish are every were in the back country in shallow water. We are on
schools of 15-30 fish per school Shrimp is still the bait of choice but we are also catching the reds on live pinfish and cut mullet. Use a 3/0 circle hook for the reds. The topwater bite is picking up the best action has been in the morning and early afternoon, I use a Rapala skitter walk in the mullet pattern works great and soft plastic jerk baits by Gulp are also producing some nice redfish.Stop in at Precision tackle in Spring Hill and see Dave he is now carrying Costa Del Mars Sunglasses in 18 differnt models at a great price and also a very nice sunglass strap by CABLZ you can use this product with your reading glasses as well, I have the Cablz for my Costa del mars and i love them. With each passing day the water temperature is climing and the fishing is getting better and better soon the greens will show up along with mackeral, cobia, and tarpon so book your trip early to reserve your dates as they fill up quickly.
