Just some info on the Bass fishing at Chesbro Dam located in Morgan Hill. I have recently been fishing at Lake Anderson because the fishing has been good there. This day I decided to try one of my personal favorites in the South Bay, Chesbro Dam. We fished off a shallow underwater point, from the shore of course, and we did really well in a short period of time. Started with senkos and immediately got bit. Switched to a Rapala F-13 jerkbait and 5 casts in hooked a nice 3 pounder, as I was lipping the fish my son hooked a nice fish on a senko, which is the double hook up picture attached. Then I also hooked another 2 pound bass just shortly after, again on a jerkbait. The thing is, these fish were caught in the middle of the day with 95 degree plus temps, just going to show you the activity of the fish at Chesbro on this day, seems to me the bass fishing could be on fire at Chesbro Dam but I need a few more outings like these to make that for certain. Good luck to all.
