Been real cold in January had a few floaters after the big freeze, but the ones that made it have moved into deeper water and will be eating in the deeper holes in the passes and creeks, even though Snook season is still closed. Trout season is open and fairly easy to catch by working a jig on the bottom real slow. Still a few sheephead around finishing out the spawn, but most of the bigger ones can be found on the offshore wrecks. Cobia are coming in on the Shallow trout beds every now and then. You will see them on the edges of the beds but they won't be in schools, so keep your eyes peeled.
