Cold weather means BIG REDFISH! –Pensacola Fishing Charters
With the much colder weather finally here and the bay cooling, the big reds have invaded our waters. Some of these schools are so big that at times the waters looks copper and it seems as if you could almost walk across the water on their backs.
Since the big reds have shown up in full force, I've put the flats fishing for speckled trout and red fishing on hold. I will run a flats technical trip if my clients prefer, but as soon as they hear about the big reds, they can't resist.
For anglers who want a technical / instructional trip, Saltwater Academy is the charter for you. I'll combine both flats and big reds during our lesson. This is an artificials only trip for the most part, unless you want to learn about live bait presentation. It's a fun trip for anglers who want to learn about fishing our inshore waters while hooking a few of the big reds. But if you want non-stop monster reds, November and December are the months for working out your reeling arm! Give me a shout and let's get you hooked up today.
Over the past few weeks I've run a few regular charters and some Saltwater Academy Charters, and we have been wearing out the reds! There are still plenty of days left to go after these bronze beauties!
I'll be back out again the next four days, so stay tuned for more exciting drag-screaming action.
