CRAPPIE: If white perch anglers watch the weather and find a day or two with light, moderate winds, it might be worth a trip to The Chicken Coop. I have not heard of any reports of 100 crappie a day (yet) but I have heard of several catches of 25-30 crappie from a morning trip. Most reports from The Coop, located north of Pendleton Bridge about 5 miles, have anglers fishing on the edge of the river in about 35 feet with live shiners fished vertically just off the bottom.
