Freshies Suggestion
Dead heads are definitely fish attracters!
My description of a "dead head" is what a floating tree, which has fallen off the bank "can turn into." The tree is a "dead head" when it stops floating/moving and becomes lodged on the bank or the bottom. It's especially good if the timber gets lodged at the edge of a drop or deep hole. Whatever the case maybe, this is where all fish migrate to in hopes of finding food and shelter. The bottom line is the larger the coverage the more interest you will get from all size fish. Here's my equation on this thought: Big fallen floating tree gets lodged and small fish for down under as well as those creatures from above get involved. Large fish, which are in the knowing, take advantage of this resource big time! Don't pass this sort of situation up! Pitch or troll here for Bites-a-awaiting!"
