Deep sea fishing in miami has its rewards.

When fishing off shore there are plenty of different ways of putting fish in the box. If trolling for mahimahi head off shore looking for birds or floaters should produce fish.

So fish a chicken rig with fresh chunk bait or whole squids,

You can find these fish between 575-650ft depths

Use 3-5 lb of lead works well.

On the wrecks we have been finding amberjack and

Groupers with mutton snappers starting to show up.

Also whipping jigging deep between 100-180ft of water have been producing nice kingfish.
