Dirt Bogging Your Lure!
October's cool fronts drop lake's water temperatures near the magical 68-degree mark, which ignites a feeding frenzy of "grand proportions!" There is less daylight, longer nights, so therefore the water is going to cool off even if it's still warm on topside. After you factor all of this into your catching day, especially at this time of the year, it's a great time to target bass. With these occurrences taking place bass have a tendency to "hold in more shallow circumstances!" With that being said, "here's a tip that you can take to the bank!" In this case, I should say, "throw to the bank, because that's just about what you need to do. Since bass do prefer shallower water at this time I suggest giving them what they want! "Your bait from the bank!" In other words, "cast onto bank and then retrieve your lure!"
