A little late with this report for June 14th 2008. Anyway, it was day two with Ivan and Ray from lower Michigan and we had a ball! We got on the water just about daybreak, and had caught somewhere around 25 keeper walleye by 10:00 am, releasing a bunch of fish once we got to our 15 fish limit to keep. Every fish we caught today was legal. The whole key to our good fishing today was fishing where the wind had been pounding into shore for a couple days straight making the water very dirty. The walleye like to take advantage of conditons like this with the keen eyesight they have. The wind also held the warmer water in tight to this particular shoreline as the water temperature was a couple degrees warmer than most of the surrounding waters.
