This past weekend proved to be another great couple of days of fishing on the Cutting Edge. The weather could not have been better and the conditions seemed to be right.

Dolphin fishing was the plan and it worded out great. We headed out to around a 1000 ft to start and began looking for Hawks and gulls working the grass lines. The first encounter came on a floater, a small piece of an old boat proved to be a great spot. At first we only saw a couple of fish, but after a few moments a huge school came racing in.

The fish were eating anything you threw in the water at first and then turned to only live bait eaters by the end of the school. Most of the fish were in the 5 pound range.

After that we found numerous schools of smaller fish but elected to hunt more for a school of larger fish. We did find several more schools on birds and grass later in the day.

By days end we had 60 fish.

The day before was much of the same, big schools of fish and lots of action.
