Hello again from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters! The title should speak for itself! If some people are not aware a super nova this is a term for a very very very hot star in the solar system. That is the best way to describe the fishing in the month of June. This would include yesterdays trip.

We started out with the normal fill up of live bait, only this time the first run of live greenies appeared yesterday. The baits were right outside the St. Lucie Inlet. After filling the live well with enough baits for live chumming,we headed to our first stop,Donaldson reef.We set-up our spinners for our first drift,in a matter of five minutes a double hook-up of two Bonito's that weighed in at 15 pounds a piece.

Shortly after getting knocked around with Bonito, we moved to some floating grass & refuse about nine miles straight out the Inlet. After about ten minutes,a Double hook-up of two Atlantic Sailfish jumping together in pure harmony. This was an incredible sight to see! Due to the masterful angeling skills of my guests on board we managed a photo scene and two official releases. After the releases we got in to some schoolie size Dolphin. That's my report from St. Lucie Sportfisihing Charters.I am Capt. Sal boat safe & fish hard!
