I knew leaving the dock today it was going to be tough! Had the end of the outgoing with not much current, not much drift. We did get a couple shots right off the bat with a couple keepers and a few shorts. Went and anchored up waiting for the change (which took forever to come) had a slow 1, 1 pick. Made a move once the current started to run, back to a 1, 1 pick. Sharks, skates and then 1 Bass. Most fish today were 27 inches, we did manage 12 keepers, none over 30 inches. If we still had the slot fish, it would have been a decent day. Tossing back the perfect eaters...what a joke!! Yet, I heard a gill netter was working inshore of the rocks and there were at least 15 Bass floating dead on the water..go figure...capt.ron
