Trophy Blue Catfish are caught up and and down the Tennessee River. But Lake Chickamauga stands out among all the TN River impoundments for its big Blue Catfish. The TWRA has a trophy fish certificate program by which anglers can be recognized for and outstanding catch. Of these TARP award winners for Blue Catfish almost 75% of these fish are caught on Lake Chickamauga. Starting now in March these big boys become active and begin feeding. Deep moving water and cut bait is the combination to catch these guys.
