Salmon fishing has been tough lately so brown trout have been our plan B- It's always good to have a plan B! I'd much rather salmon fish but w/ all the storms and rough seas I figued it prudent to stay tight and fish brownies.

They're almost always cooperative and the last few days proved it. 80-100' of water 10-15' off bottom -stinger in natural colors run 20-40' off the riggers- 220-250 off the slide dipsies-

Today we took some BTs quick then it slowed down- SO we decide to go for the BIG guys-

I'd say a few are starting to show- white paddles and green/blue flies took four hits in short order with two good ones making it to the boat. 100' down on riggers and 320 out on slide dippies over 250' of water.

Fish Species: browns and kings
Bait Used: spoons - dodger/flies
Tackle Used: diawa trollin
Method Used: trolling
Water Depth: 80-220
Water Temperature: 73 surface
Wind Direction: W/NW
Wind Speed: 10-20
