I spent this past wee fishing with some very good Clients. Dennis and Andrea Buck Gambled a few years back on mid summer fishing. Based on my advice they booked a few days in July. Now they spend an entire week here with me chasing trout and salmon.
One day starting on trout the next starting on salmon. At the end of each day we had the same results. PLENTY OF ACTION. With limit catches.
Right now the salmon are being caught using flasher fly combos in White or Green with Green or white flys. The Hammer fly behind a White Green Dot PRO-TROLL flasher seems to be the best.
All spoons for the trout Michigan Stingers in Dirty White Boy or Chartruese Clown are producing very good.
There are some smallmouth being caught off the A-frame just west of the mexico boat launch.
