The Tampa Bay flounder bites keeps getting better and better! Shamrock Fishing Charters are staying on the flounder.

Captain Sean Hagen reports good numbers of flounder being caught along St Petersburg's sand bars and pot holes. "We are averaging 10 to 20 flounder a day. Must of the flatties are comming up short, but we are managing at least 4 to 6 keepers a trip!"

Most of the smaller size flounder are taking jigs tipped with shrimp. The bigger size flounder are hitting larger size white bait and pinfish. Slow dragging a weighted bait is essential when targeting Tampa Bay Flounder.

Flounder fishing should continue to be good. The 11 1/2 inchers you were throwing back in January & Febuary should be keeper size between now and April.

Look for a good flounder bite and larger flatties during March and April. The bite will slow as down as we experience warmer May waters. So, get out there, and get-ur-done or call Captain Sean Hagen to show you how! 1877 357-HOOK!"Fishing Like A Pro" with Eupro!
