Fishing has been good between cold fronts. Try fishing the rivers for redfish, snook, and trout.

The water temperatures have been up and down between fronts so try slowing down retrieves for best results. If using live sardines, a cut tail under a cork maybe the way to go.

We are still having good success with snook using lives sardines, but the redfish are definetly reacting better to shrimp.

A 1/8 oz jighead or 1/0 Eupro J-hook(with live shrimp or gulp) with 15-20lb Eupro Flourocarbon has been a winning combination. Slowing down your retrieve while bumping the bottom is the way to go. When I feel a tug I immediately follow through with a hard hook-set before I'm robbed blind! Give it a shot and let me know it works for you.

Till next time, remember to have a safe and quality day on the water. "Fishing like a pro" with Capt Sean and Eupro tackle. www.fishingwithshamrock.com
