157 fish for 18 anglers. That included the pool winning lingcod. The weather was almost incredible beyond descripton. Not only was it flat calm, anglers enjoyed terrific humpback and blue whale shows nearly the whole time they were fishing. The water was really clear, you could see your fish come up from roughly 50 feet down. The bite was a little on the slow side. You had to work for the fish you caught, but the meter was utterly thick with fish. So was the krill and other bait. The fish that were landed were regurgitating up all kinds of bait, some shrimp, some small fish. No wonder they weren't overly hungry. Fished below the Main Island, east of the closure stuff, then above the Main, west of the Pimple.
