Sal Mattino

Hello again from St.Lucie Sportfishing Charters.I decided to take the day off & go fishing with my two sons.We headed out the St. Lucie Intlet at dawn. We loaded up on live sardines at a place well known to the public as Bull Shark Reef. After we loaded up first stop a pile of toilet bowels. After we got tired of the boneheads we headed for the Six mile two Reef.

First hook up at this spot was a nice Sailfish.Jumped several times the fight was on for a few minutes but this Sailfish won the battle this time and went free!Shortly after that we had another Sail about thirty yards from our stern just playing with a sardine that was frantically trying to get away from the bill of the playful Sailfish. No matter what I tried he did not want to take the bait this time around.

Next stop was Donaldson Reef. We had a great double hook up of a good size pair of Barracuda.Nice day of fishing with my two sons for Fathers Day 2009.That's my report from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters! Boat safe, fish hard! Capt Sal out!
