The ongoing coldfront that has sat on south Florida for sometime now finally pushed the sailfish here. Fishing with us was Al, his Son Matt and his wife Linda. Linda was lucky enough to catch her first sailfish with us last year, so this year it was Al and Matt's turn. We went kite fishing in about 150 feet of water and after a short wait Matt who is only 9 was hooked up. He did great and after a bunch of long runs jumps and dives we had him at the boat in about 25 minutes for a beautiful release and some pictures. Al was soon to follow and caught a monster sail after about 40 minutes great job guys!
