Small group of customers for our first Striper trip of the fall, went right to the clamming. Caught the last of the incoming off the beach, had 2 fish right away, a keeper and a short. Made 2 more drifts, didn't like what I saw, took a ride out to the East, read some fish and anchored up. Had a shot of fish with 4 keepers and 8, 27 inch fish before we lost the tide. Waited for the change hoping the bite would start again, only caught sharks on the outgoing...Ended the day jigging some bluefish....still an O.K. showing for this early in the season, can only get better!! Chartered Sat. Morning. Open for the afternoon Bluefish trip 3:30 till 9:30pm. Capt.Ron
