Headed Out with Only 3 anglers... Due to 3 deadbeats Pulling a no show ... Sorry to the others i had turned away!!!
Had Joey JMurr, Maria mo, and Ryan scubanut aboard... Headed Out around 6am... Bunkers were right were they were Yesterday but a more scattered.
Got on a few nice patches... got some bunker but had no takers on da live ones...
After Bouncing in and out of bunker for a couple hours with no action we headed up north... Joined a gathering fleet offshore. Acres of Blues busting on top with bird play... Loads of action with the blues on everything... Couldnt keep a bunker in the water with out getting shredded and our krocs werent making it to the bottom... When the Blues finally let up a bit we caught our first Bass On a bunker head. Proceeded to get 4 bass and could of had all the blues ya wanted.
Everyone Got a striper...Ryan was first on da board Joey got his limit including his personal best, and Maria got her First keeper bass Fish were loaded with porgies,herring, squid, bunker, and seabass...
After the action slowed and wind picked up we headed of bottomfishing. Got to the ling grounds and really never got any good action... couple of drops were both slow... Headed inshore and the ocean started getting pretty bouncing made one drop for seabass and picked a few keepers and shorts and a bunch of nice Blackfish released for another day... wound up with a couple dozen keeper Bottom fish seabass/ ling.
1. Ryan catches more Blackfish on seabass trips than tog trips
