For those that want to bring their own boat and have a dock to tie it up this is the place for you. Not only that, "but there are fish waiting to bite your hook!" It's a big house with 5 bedrooms, (two full beds in each), 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, plenty of parking, and dock on deep water. The services offered while staying at the "Fisherman's Retreat" can be a little or as detailed as you like. It's minutes away from grocery stores. It's a 15-minute drive to Savannah Beach AKA Tybee Island or Historical Downtown Savannah. For those that want to shop there are two major shopping malls less than 30 minutes away.
Let's talk about your boating/fishing options: For those that want to charter inshore or offshore boats Miss Judy Charters (inshore and offshore boats) can pick you up at the deep-water dock or you can drive to our dock, which is less than minutes away.
Bringing your own boat is another option! There is a public ramp located close by as well a Hogan's Marina, (912 897 3474) which can "float your boat!" For those that want to use their own boats, Captain Judy has inshore as well as offshore charts for sale that will help guide you to some great fishing spots.
For those that don't want to cook, the staff at the "Fisherman's Retreat" can offer all kinds of suggestions. They can arrange to have the cooks brought to you featuring such favorites as "low country boil" or "Have those fish cooked that you caught yourself!" There is more! Heck, for those that want to dine out…there are lots of good restaurants (breakfast, lunch, and dinner fancy or not!) within minutes of the retreat!
