With much anticipation we headed for the ocean and the start of the incoming tide. Wanted to try a couple area's to see if there was any life. Saw plenty of gannets, read lots of bait going across the bay. Needles to say several drops outside produced not a bite.

Ran back to shallow water for the afternoon. Caught the change of tide and had a short 20 minute bite, landing 3 keepers a short and a couple fish that were lost. As fast as it started is as fast as it ended once the current started to run. At least we kept the skunk off!! Keepers were in the 28 and 29 inch range, very clean and healthy looking....

Hopefully a better bite tomorrow.
