Thanks for organizing a great trip for me! In addition to the great fishing, your bookings for horseback riding and the personal guide for the park were excellent and I would recomend them to anybody!
Now onto the important stuff....On day one of fishing, Glenn and Marvin on the Reel Deal quickly warmed me up within 30 minutes of setting the lines putting me on a average sized female Dorado. We trolled the rest of the day and ended up with 4 nice size Sailfish on a reguarly occuring basis that were alot of fun to reel in! Afterwards, I headed over to Marlintini's restaurant to have the kitchen staff prepare me my Dorado catch in a three course meal..the Dorado ceviche was simply outstanding, and the main Dorado course was cooked perfectly, nice and flaky!
On day two of fishing, the crew started me out trolling for some Roosters for about an hour near the ledges..I did get one massive bite that snapped the line right off at the hook, on lighter tackle than what we use out in the bluewater, so I was happy enough I know what the bite is like for next time! After heading out to the bluewater, like clockwork, 30 minutes after setting out the lines, Glenn and Marvin put me on a BIG Sail...pushing 150 pounds plus and was super fun to reel in. They put me on 3 more Sailfish througout the day, I called it a day after Sail #4, about 15 minutes before quitting time, and Glenn and Marvin were nice enough to ask if I wanted to try the afternoon Roosterfish bite! Glenn and Marvin are very polite, hard working Ticos with armed with great fishing techniques, and the Reel Deal was a great boat to be out on. I will definitely be using them again!
See you next season Amiga!
