Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/18/20
With the March type weather, we have been experiencing fishing remained strong on Guntersville this past week. There were a few days that we experienced catches of 30 plus fish and some good size mixed in there with them. The water temperature in some areas reached as high as 59 degrees moving the bass to the early spring locations. Being persistent and finding the right location was key but when you did you reaped the benefits.
Baits were pretty-typical winter type baits, SPRO Aruka Shads, Picasso chatter baits and spinner baits, Tight-Line swim jigs along with Missile bait “48” stick baits were the key. We fished mainly in 10 ft. or less of water most of the day. Location, grass, bait fish and timing were key to catching; you just had to be patient until they turned on and then it was on.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. It’s time to book your 2020 fishing days, call me let’s get you set up! We fish with great sponsor products, Vicious Fishing, Lowrance Electronics, Mercury Motors, Ranger Boats, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett fishing, Navionics mapping, Power Pole, and more.
