Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/19/19
Even though the weather changed the conditions some this week the fishing remained strong, it was still typical winter all about location but when you found a group you had some really-good fish. The key was all about persistence, covering water and winding and chucking until a bite slowed you down.
The bait selection increased this past week as it appeared that when you found a group of fish anything that caused a vibration would get you hooked up. Stay in water depth between 5 to 9 ft. and you will find some groups of good fish. We fished Picasso Shock Waves, and umbrella rigs along with SPRO Aruka Shad rattle baits SPRO Little John 60 square bills and more.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, our guides are all licensed USCG captains and have many years’ experience on the water. The spring is looking like it could be one of the best in many years. We fish with great sponsor products Lowrance Electronics, T&H Marine products, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett Fishing, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, Ranger boats and more.
