Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/26/19
With the big drop in temperature the bass have made some moves and finding groups of them became a lot more difficult, size was good, but numbers were down. Have no fear though as February is generally one of the best winter months of the year.
Depth moved from 3 to 5 ft. out to 7 to 10 ft. this week changing your location some and moving your last week spots out some. We also took a more winter time bait approach as you had to move your baits slower and make a few different choices. Lighter yet slower movement baits like Picasso under-spins, Picasso umbrella rigs, SPRO McRip, Missile Bait 48 stick baits were more effective this past week. Fish slower cover ground and work your bite areas thoroughly is the key to finding the fish.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you, nobody will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water.
