Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/5/20
The early part of January has proved to be some pretty good fishing on Guntersville, it’s typical winter as timing, location and bait selection is always key. If you make the right choices then you’ll catch the fish; working hard covering water has been the key to location, timing and bait selection.
With the water high we have stuck to Picasso Shock Blade chatter baits, Tight-Line swim jigs and Missile Bait “48” stick baits. Fishing grass, locating a food source, looking for reaction to our baits was key to the early January. We fished from 6 to 13 ft. of water covering territory looking for bites
Come fish with us, it appears that the winter will be strong, I have days and guides available to fish with you; book your trip for this season now. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Boat Logix mounts, Ranger Boats, Mercury motors, Power Pole, Duckett fishing, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, T&H Marine products and more.
