Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/2/19
With the tough weather conditions this past week my customers were hesitant to get on the water wind, rain and tough conditions sidelined several of my trips. When we did get on the water we found a mixed bag of results. We would have a few hours of fish biting good, there would be chasing and activity on top of the grass then it would turn dead and finding activity got tough. The active fish were easy to see but finding a bait that enticed the was not as simple. We mainly stayed in 4 to 7 ft. of water looking to activity. The numbers game was good when the fish were active and then not so much!
Baits were kind of all over the map as we tried many things to entice active fish to hit artificial baits when they were clearly focused on schooling bait. We fished Picasso buzz baits, Missile Bait “48’ stick baits, Picasso chatter baits, Tight-Line swim jigs and pitched Tight-Line jigs into the open grass areas.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, I still believe November will be great and I am looking forward to the best of the fall. We fish with great sponsor products Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors, Duckett Fishing, Dawson Boat Center, T&H marine, Navionics mapping, Power pole and more.
