Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/15/18
With cold rain and constant changing weather my report only has a few days of sampling from this past week. Again, my report is second hand as my new Ranger is close to arriving but still not here. With the amount of fishing trips slow for the time of year and the holidays there are fish being caught in the 15-plus ft. of water, but you work for your bites.
It is the tough surviving and getting bites as the Picasso umbrella rig seems to be catching fish, but as is the case this bait is heavy tough on the body so not everyone enjoys fishing it. Other baits we are fishing missile bait ‘48” stick baits, Tight-Line jigs and SPRO Aruka shad rattle baits are also finding bites.
