Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/1/20
There was quite a change from the beginning of this past week to the end as we saw some warming temperatures and sunshine late in the week that improve the bite substantially over the 7-day period. Don’t be fooled its not easy as the water temperature is still ranging from high 40 to maybe 51 degrees making the bass very lethargic and fishing tough; the good news is if you can get a group of them feeding meaning being at the right place at the right time you can catch a bunch off one spot.
We managed to do that a few times this week putting several small fish in the boat over a 1- hour period, and then when it was over well it was over! We caught fish mainly on SPRO Aruka shad rattle baits, Picasso Spinner baits and Shock Blade chatter baits, we also rolled Tight-Line swim jigs over the grass catching some fish by keeping good contact with the grass.
Come fish with us we have guides and days available to fish with you, no one treats you better or works harder to see you have a great day on the water. Schedule your trip now, call me we will get you set for a great fishing trip! We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Boat Logix mounts, Mercury motors, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, Duckett Fishing, Power Pole, Dawson Boat Center and more.
