Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/2/19
With the extreme change in weather this past week came some location changes for the bass on Guntersville; the back-water flats were not as productive so changing to main channel points and ridges made you hunt longer and harder. Groups of fish were harder to find so covering water quickly made the difference in finding fish.
With the location change we also had to adjust to different baits, slowing our presentations by changing from ½ type wait to ¼ or 1/8 oz. in many cases, this allowed you to slow down and keep you bait in the strike zone easier than the heavy baits. We fished Picasso Shock Blades chatter baits, Missile bait “48” stick baits, SPRO Aruka Shads rattle baits and Tight-Line football jigs. The water was muddy, so we matched the color of the water with reds, purples and chartreuse!
Come fish with us no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water, I have guides and days available for the 2019 fishing season to fish with you. Don’t wait get your best days reserved now! We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett Fishing, Vicious Fishing, Ranger Boats, Mercury motors, and more.
