Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/8/20
We spent most of the week fishing 8 ft. of water or less the bass certainly aren’t everywhere and finding more than a few bites was certainly at a premium. We had one day that we caught several fish off one location and then went back to some spotty bites after that. The fishing is just going to improve but there will be some ups and downs as we progress toward some consistent weather.
With the Rattle trap tournament coming up it is certainly the right time of year and the rattle trap bite is certainly the best especially the SPRO Aruka Shad as it appears to get bites that most will not. We also caught fish on Picasso Spinner Baits, Picasso Shock blade chatter baits and Tight-Line swim jigs. Erratic movement appeared to me to be the best presentation as movement was everything when it comes to getting bites.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors, Boat Logix mounts, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, Duckett Fishing, Missile Baits, Power Pole and more.
