Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/14/20
After the Classic left the lake the up and down weather continued forcing us to constantly look for different patterns to catch fish; not much different than they did as consistent bites were hard to find all week. We overcame some tough times caught some decent fish, but we worked hard for our bites; typical Guntersville until the weather stabilizes as we progress through the spring. As always, the chance of some quality this time of year is always your best shot, but you must catch your bites, as misses are painful.
I stayed with the same baits that have been successful most of the winter so far, Picasso Shock Blade, Picasso Spinner Baits, Tight-Line jigs, Missile Bait 48 stick baits and D-Bombs, SPRO Aruka shad rattle baits. We stayed in mainly 8 to 12 ft. of water along drops and structure. Fish slow keep contact with the bottom and fish hard; and as I said don’t miss your bites.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you, fishing is a great outdoor activity that keeps you away from crowds and in touch with nature. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Mercury motors, Boat Logix mounts, Ranger Boats, Vicious Fishing, Duckett Fishing, Navionics mapping, and more.
